Easter crafts

I made a little Easter sign for our door (Glad Påsk = Happy Easter in Swedish) using different kinds of papers and a few blings :)

The bunny template you can find in this post, its a bunny banner post but I didn't have enough fun papers for a banner so I changed mine to a Easter sign :)

This (pic below) vase I did a while back, got the idea from a crafting blog I happened to run by searching for inspiration, its an ordinary glass jar, I glued on some twine, a little flower and button. Easiest way ever to get a cute spring vase.

I made some eggs from paper, using simple decoration and some awesome stamps I got from Panduro's sale a few months ago.

 I was staying within the colors of white, black, silver and pink.

 Here is the results of my Easter twigs/ Easter table decoration. Pink and girly, since my son is still to young to have an input and my husband doesn't care about Easter decorations :D

Svensk Scrapbooking

A few challenges from Svensk Scrapbooking this month.

First: Make your own notebook

 I made one, its for my balcony ideas, somewhere to collect pictures and notes.

I berry (instead of very cause of the theme and berry stickers in the front) much would like a garden - But my balcony just have to do!

I used two rings to bind it and they are easy to open so i can change the sheets inside for next years plans if I want to. :)

I gave it four categories, flowers, herbs & veggies, family hangout and details.

 Inside, there is sheets for pictures from magazines and notes.

 Second: LO or card with extra love for the frame

 Maybe its not exactly what they had in mind, but my idea for this challenge was to tone down all the colors but the frame in my LO, so everything is as natural white/wood/light beige as possible. I tore papers from a book, fixed it on a cardstock and used this as background and then I had this colorful paper with light beige in it so I figure it would be perfect as a frame.

Third: Svensk Scrapbooking March LO sketch

 Pretty much straight forward, just changed the tree kind since this was about Christmas :)

 I very much enjoyed this months challenges, cant wait to see whats for next month :)

Paper blocks!

Made these blocks for my son a while ago, they measure 10x10 cm, was originally going to hang them from somewhere but couldn't find a good spot or any good ribbon/thread that fit with the colors, but he got a sneak peak at them and he looked so excited that my heart melted and I gave them to him to play with as they were. Incredibly enough (since they are made of paper and he is a 20 month old boy) they are still whole :D

Valentine!

 Some valentine crafts I made this weekend.

This card I made for my husband, the Barry White song is our song, the stamp is from http://cathylcalamas.blogspot.com/ and I'm also like to enter Svensk Scrapbooking February card LO with this one.

Kids Valentine Craft

 I don't always craft by myself,  we are very creative parents and our little boy, loves to paint. He is only 1,5 years so its not the easiest age to come up with crafts for (tips are welcome), but we made these napkin rings from half toilet paper rolls.

 He painted them in the colors he liked, picked them all by himself and luckily I had this paper with pretty lovely characters on them, perfect for Valentines and in fitting colors. Since we will be celebrating valentines with him, we will be sure to use them during our "romantic" family dinner :D

I seen this text (Dont worry be scrappy) on some quote site and wanted to use it on something, and lucky for me they had a good price on boxes at a store, finally a place to keep my papers and something to use the quote on :D

A 2012 craft

We are not making a big fuss about new year at ours but we always celebrate a little and I figured I make a little table decoration, a little card, it has a little flap on the back so it can stand on its own. Stamp can be found at Melonheadz.

Happy New Year my readers, hope 2012 brings lots of joy!

Vi firar aldrig stort på nyår här hos oss, men vi firar alltid lite grann så jag tänkte jag skulle göra en bord dekoration, ett litet kort, den har en flik på baksidan så den kan stå själv. Stämpeln kan du hitta hos Melonheadz.

Bookmarks

Made these bookmarks for my mother in law's birthday, the one on the right have a nifty word writing thingy on it (Kattsiken också! Nu var jag tvungen att ta en paus i boken = Darn it! now i had to take a break from the book), you can describe Kattsiken meaning something like darn it but it has the words katt in it which means cat in Swedish, and it also have the cats on it thereby the nifty word writing  :)

Gjorde dessa bokmärken till min svärmors födelsedag, tyckte att jag fick till en finurlig liten text (Kattsiken också! Nu var jag tvungen att ta en paus i boken) och en bild på katter, varav det finurliga med Kattsiken. :)

Wishlist

 I started a new tradition last year when my son had his first Christmas, I made him a wishlist, I will make one every year even when he gets so old he starts writing his own :)

So this is this years one, made it as a tag and in the Christmas colors of white, red and gold.

Last picture, you can see last years version. It will be fun later to read how the things on the list change from year to year.

Jag började en ny tradition förra julen då det var min sons första, jag gjorde honom en önskelista, jag kommer göra en varje år, även när han blir så stor så han skriver dom själv :)

Det här är årets, gjorde den som en tag och i julens färger, vit, röd och guld.

Halloween!

Mummy!!!

 Jag har sett lite Pringles burk mumier ute på pysselbloggar så jag blev sugen på att göra en egen, inte så mycket avancerad, utan bara rivna vita pappers remsor och klippta ögon limmade på en ren Pringles burk, perfekt godis burk eller varför inte för att ha kakor i?!

I seen a few Pringles can mummies on several crafting blogs, got inspired to make my own, not a advanced one, just strips of white paper and some eyes I made in paper, all glued on the Pringles can, perfect as candy can or why not to store cookies?!

Candy coffins!

Svensk Scrapbooking har en utmaning den här månaden att göra något i godisets tecken, jag ville passa på att göra något till Halloween och det första godiset jag började tänka på var de där hallon lakrits skallarna som finns, så jag gjorde en röd svart kista i papper, med lite bling, glitter och dekoration, pappret jag använde till botten av kistan var enkelt rött men jag ritade ett spindelnät som jag skannade in och sen la flera på en A4 storlek och skrev ut på det enkla röda pappret, blev det genast roligare. Så detta är mitt bidrag till utmaningen.

Den andra kistan (är inte med i utmaningen) gjorde jag i svart och använda ett designark jag hade med pumpor på att dekorera med, remsan på kanten på locket, gjorde jag med svart bakgrund och orange text i photoshop och skrev jag ut för jag hade inget passande band hemma. Måste älska photoshop :)

Svensk Scrapbooking has a challenge this month to make something in the sign of candy, I wanted to make something for Halloween and the first candy to pop into my mind was a liquorice and raspberry skull (see skulls in red black coffin, first coffin picture), so I made a black and red  coffin in paper, with some bling, glitter and decorations. The bottom paper of the coffin was blank red but I draw a spider net, scanned it into the computer and used photshop to put several of them on a A4 size and then printed it onto the red paper, turned out much more fun. I'm entering the challenge with this one.

The other coffin (not for the challenge) I made in black and used a paper with pumpkins to decorate it with, the strip on the border of the lid is made in photoshop, just black background and orange text, made it cause i didn't have any fitting ribbons at home. Got to love photoshop :)

Challengeparty

Svensk Scrapbooking fyller 5 år och har den här helgen haft födelsedags-CC, blandannat skulle en party väska göras, jag passade på att göra en godisväska för Halloween.

Svensk Scrapbooking are turning 5 and is having a birthday-CC this weekend, one of the challenges was to create a partybag, I made one for Halloween.

Passade på att fylla på med lite julkort till samlingen med några av de kortskisser som var med bland utmaningarna.

Made a few Christmas cards for the December collection with some of the card challenges they offered us

Den övre var en utmaning kort med 5 ord (God Jul Gott Nytt År) och den nedre en LO med 5 bilder.
