Easter crafts

I made a little Easter sign for our door (Glad Påsk = Happy Easter in Swedish) using different kinds of papers and a few blings :)

The bunny template you can find in this post, its a bunny banner post but I didn't have enough fun papers for a banner so I changed mine to a Easter sign :)

This (pic below) vase I did a while back, got the idea from a crafting blog I happened to run by searching for inspiration, its an ordinary glass jar, I glued on some twine, a little flower and button. Easiest way ever to get a cute spring vase.

I made some eggs from paper, using simple decoration and some awesome stamps I got from Panduro's sale a few months ago.

 I was staying within the colors of white, black, silver and pink.

 Here is the results of my Easter twigs/ Easter table decoration. Pink and girly, since my son is still to young to have an input and my husband doesn't care about Easter decorations :D

Valentine!

 Some valentine crafts I made this weekend.

This card I made for my husband, the Barry White song is our song, the stamp is from http://cathylcalamas.blogspot.com/ and I'm also like to enter Svensk Scrapbooking February card LO with this one.

Love frame

I'm entering with this in a Swedish challenge blog's monthly challenge, you can find it here, this month its Bingo, I picked bingo vertical row 1 (lodrätt rad 1), containing ribbon (band), string (snöre), flowers leaves (blommor blad) and tags. You can see all 4 on the second picture very well. Loved this challenge, was so much fun figuring out a row to choose and making something with it.

I worked a lot on the frame to get a very old look but it still has some glittery color in it. Stamp is from Melonheadz. Think this is a perfect thing to make now that valentine is coming up. :)

Christmas flowers

I had a gift certificate at a flower shop that I figure I use to buy me some nice Christmas flowers, but they were all very expensive when they were in a group but not separably, so I got me a few things and together with a few things I already had at home it turned out to be a very much cheaper Christmas flower arrangement. :)

Jag hade ett presentkort hos en blombutik som jag tänkte använda till att köpa ett julblommor, men de var alla så dyra när de var i grupp men inte separat så jag köpte några enkla och tillsammans med lite saker jag hade hemma blev de en mycket billigare julgrupp. :)

Gingerbreadhouse

or not, since we absolutely do not have the talents for making gingerbread houses in this house we started a tradition last year to make something else from gingerbread dough with the theme movies, we expanded it this year to " seen on TV". Last year it was a Jurassic Park "painting" with gingerbread dinosaurs. This year we made a Coca Cola commercial plate, you know the one with the polar bear. A glass bottle coke, cotton, gingerbread in the form of a polar bear, icing, few sugar pearls, all on a plate and  icing sugar powdered all over it. Advanced enough for us. So what do ya think?  :D

eller inte, eftersom vi absolut inte har någon talang att göra pepparkakshus i det här huset så började vi en tradition förra året att göra något annat av pepparkaksdeg med temat "film", vi utökade temat i år till "sett på TV". förra året var det en Jurassic Park tavla med pepparkaksdinosaurier. Det här året gjorde vi ett Coca Cola reklam fat, ni vet den där med isbjörnen. En glascola, bomull, pepparkaka i form av en isbjörn, kristyr, några sockerpärlor, allt på ett fat och florsocker pudrat över. Avancerat nog för oss. Så vad tycks?  :D

Decorative fruit

I decorated oranges and clementines with coves and red ribbons, I think its a pretty way to make easy Christmas decoration for your home and it smells great around the spot where you have them. :)

Jag dekorerade apelsiner och clementiner med nejlikor och röda band, jag tycker det är ett fint och enkelt sätt att jul dekorera hemma och så luktar det gott runtomkring där de är. :)

Halloween!

Mummy!!!

 Jag har sett lite Pringles burk mumier ute på pysselbloggar så jag blev sugen på att göra en egen, inte så mycket avancerad, utan bara rivna vita pappers remsor och klippta ögon limmade på en ren Pringles burk, perfekt godis burk eller varför inte för att ha kakor i?!

I seen a few Pringles can mummies on several crafting blogs, got inspired to make my own, not a advanced one, just strips of white paper and some eyes I made in paper, all glued on the Pringles can, perfect as candy can or why not to store cookies?!

Candy coffins!

Svensk Scrapbooking har en utmaning den här månaden att göra något i godisets tecken, jag ville passa på att göra något till Halloween och det första godiset jag började tänka på var de där hallon lakrits skallarna som finns, så jag gjorde en röd svart kista i papper, med lite bling, glitter och dekoration, pappret jag använde till botten av kistan var enkelt rött men jag ritade ett spindelnät som jag skannade in och sen la flera på en A4 storlek och skrev ut på det enkla röda pappret, blev det genast roligare. Så detta är mitt bidrag till utmaningen.

Den andra kistan (är inte med i utmaningen) gjorde jag i svart och använda ett designark jag hade med pumpor på att dekorera med, remsan på kanten på locket, gjorde jag med svart bakgrund och orange text i photoshop och skrev jag ut för jag hade inget passande band hemma. Måste älska photoshop :)

Svensk Scrapbooking has a challenge this month to make something in the sign of candy, I wanted to make something for Halloween and the first candy to pop into my mind was a liquorice and raspberry skull (see skulls in red black coffin, first coffin picture), so I made a black and red  coffin in paper, with some bling, glitter and decorations. The bottom paper of the coffin was blank red but I draw a spider net, scanned it into the computer and used photshop to put several of them on a A4 size and then printed it onto the red paper, turned out much more fun. I'm entering the challenge with this one.

The other coffin (not for the challenge) I made in black and used a paper with pumpkins to decorate it with, the strip on the border of the lid is made in photoshop, just black background and orange text, made it cause i didn't have any fitting ribbons at home. Got to love photoshop :)

Challengeparty

Svensk Scrapbooking fyller 5 år och har den här helgen haft födelsedags-CC, blandannat skulle en party väska göras, jag passade på att göra en godisväska för Halloween.

Svensk Scrapbooking are turning 5 and is having a birthday-CC this weekend, one of the challenges was to create a partybag, I made one for Halloween.

Passade på att fylla på med lite julkort till samlingen med några av de kortskisser som var med bland utmaningarna.

Den övre var en utmaning kort med 5 ord (God Jul Gott Nytt År) och den nedre en LO med 5 bilder.

Christmascard holder

Hade en korg till övers här hemma så jag målade den med rött och beige för jag hade inget vitt hemma, men jag tror det funkar ändå, och sen dekorerade med ett superfint klippark jag hittade på Panduro. Korgen har en hängare bak till så den går att sätta upp på väggen så nu har jag äntligen någonstans att förvara våra julhälsningar.

 I had a little basket laying around with no use so I painted it red and beige cause I didn't have any white color at home, but it works I think. After that I used a pretty sheet of cutouts I found at Panduro to decorate it with. The basket has a hook in the back so I can put it up on the wall, now I finally have a place to keep our Christmas greetings.

Två och en halv månad kvar tills jul, har ni planerat, pysslat eller handlat något juligt än?

I'm cuckoo for you!

Jag har bytt dator så därför har det blivit lite tomt med postande i bloggarna, men nu är det fixat så då är det dags igen, här en liten ram jag gav till min make här i veckan bara för att visa lite kärlek, det står I'm cuckoo for you på den om det inte syns på bilden, fotot i ramen är tagen den sommaren vi träffades.

Cornelius birthdayparty!

Hylla för miniatyrer / Shelf for miniatures

Jag fick en hylla för miniatyrer för några år sedan av min mormor, den var i enkel trä med en vit, lite gulnat baksida så jag tyckte det var dags att göra om den, något jag har tänkt på så länge men det har inte blivit av förrän nu, så jag målade den svart, klippte papper i rutor som passade de små rummen och klistra fast dem.

I got this shelf for miniatures a few years back from my grandma, it was in simple wood with a white back that had turned a bit yellow, so I figured it was time to give it a make over, something I thought about for long time but never really did, untill now, so I painted it black, cut papers to fit the little shelfs and glued them on there.
